Design Story

Built for engineers and manufacturing leads who know that ‘cost‑optimized’ too often means ‘good luck with the tolerance stack‑up.’

Procurement hits their KPI: 10% material cost reduction. Engineering hits their KPI: 500% increase in scrap rate, tool breakage, and emergency change orders. The cheapest aluminum powder gums up the die-casting machine. The "bargain" steel work-hardens prematurely. This engineer t-shirt exposes the hidden cost of short-term savings. Because when Procurement saves pennies on raw materials, Engineering pays dollars in production chaos.

Best For

Best for manufacturing engineers, project leads, and ops managers stuck between procurement’s unit price and the plant’s scrap rate.

  • Manufacturing engineers dealing with sub-spec materials.
  • Process engineers reworking failed production runs.
  • Quality engineers rejecting incoming lots daily.
  • Plant managers explaining cost overruns to the board.

Gift Guide

A brutally accurate gift for the person who keeps saying ‘we can’t negotiate with physics’ every time someone suggests a cheaper substitute.

Perfect engineer gift for anyone fighting procurement decisions. Ultimate funny manufacturing engineer shirt for production teams. Essential manufacturing workwear for quality departments tired of "cost-optimized" disasters.
