🧪 Ink & Skin-Contact Safety

  • Water-Based Inks Print partner Our printing partner uses OEKO-TEX® certified water-based inks — tested against 100+ harmful substances including heavy metals, formaldehyde, and allergenic dyes. Certification held by print partner. Scope confirmed where stated on product page.
  • What "OEKO-TEX tested" means for your skin Every print wears against your skin for years. We chose inks tested to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 — the same bar used for baby clothing. Not because it's marketing. Because it's the right spec.

Data Handling — Zero Bloat Policy

We apply the same principle to your data as we do to our codebase: if it's not needed, it doesn't exist. No data hoarding, no broker resale, no surveillance capitalism.

  • Communications: Support emails run on Swiss-hosted servers (Infomaniak) — outside US jurisdiction, outside EU data broker reach.
  • Transactions: Order and payment data processed through Shopify's PCI DSS Level 1 infrastructure. End-to-end encrypted. Not stored on our end.
  • No Resale, Ever: Your data doesn't ship to brokers, ad networks, or "analytics partners." Full stop.

Do these certifications belong to grabNade?

No — and we're upfront about that. The certifications on this page are held by our suppliers: blank garment manufacturers, ink providers, and infrastructure partners. We specify the scope for each one (e.g. "blank only," "print partner"). You can verify the exact standard per product on each product page. No borrowed authority, no inflated claims.

Why the "scope" badges on each certification?

Because certification coverage isn't monolithic — it varies by blank model, print location, and supplier batch. Most brands paste a logo and call it a day. We tag the exact scope so you know precisely what's certified and what isn't. Think of it as a tolerance callout on an engineering drawing — the spec only applies where it's dimensioned.

Do you claim to be "carbon neutral" or "sustainable"?

No. Those claims are cheap and often unverifiable. What we do: we select suppliers that publish their own environmental commitments, we optimize our digital assets for efficiency, and we document our carbon footprint transparently on a dedicated page. We'll call ourselves sustainable when the data actually supports it.
