Garment Certifications — Supplier Specs

🌱 Material & Sourcing Standards

  • Organic Cotton Blank supplier Our organic tees use Stanley/Stella blanks made with GOTS-certified organic cotton (Global Organic Textile Standard). Our eco hoodies (SOL'S blank) are OCS Blended (organic cotton and recycled polyester), not GOTS. Our standard tees (Bella+Canvas) are conventional Airlume cotton. Scope: blank manufacturer only. See each product page for the exact blank model.
  • Organic Farming Rules Organic tees only GOTS-certified organic cotton is grown without GMO seeds or synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, as required by the standard. Applies only to products whose page lists GOTS.
  • Vegan Blank only PETA-Approved Vegan: held by the blank manufacturer for the blanks listed on the product page. See product page for exact blank model and certification scope.

🧪 Ink & Skin-Contact Safety

  • Water-Based Inks Print partner Our print partner (Printful) uses water-based inks certified OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT, a certification for textile chemicals. Certification held by the ink supplier, not by grabNade.

Your Data

  • Orders and payments: processed by Shopify and Shopify Payments (PCI DSS Level 1). We never see your full card number.
  • Email: support emails are hosted by Infomaniak (Switzerland). Marketing emails, only if you subscribe, are sent with Klaviyo.
  • Analytics and advertising: we use cookies and tools such as Shopify analytics and advertising platforms, as described in our Privacy Policy, where you can also opt out.

Technical FAQ

Do these certifications belong to grabNade?

No. They are held by our suppliers: blank garment manufacturers, the ink supplier and our platforms. Each product page lists the blank model and the certifications that apply to it.

Why the "scope" badges on each certification?

Because certifications differ by blank model and supplier. We tag the scope so you know what is certified and what isn't. Think of it as a tolerance callout on an engineering drawing — the spec only applies where it's dimensioned.

Do you claim to be "carbon neutral" or "sustainable"?

No. Those claims are cheap and often unverifiable. What we do: we select suppliers that publish their own environmental commitments, we optimize our digital assets for efficiency, and we document our carbon footprint transparently on a dedicated page. We'll call ourselves sustainable when the data actually supports it.
