Design Story

Made for the engineer who knows Ra is just the average story — and Rz is where the real surface problems hide.

Any first-year engineering student can define Ra. It’s the arithmetic average. It’s the safe, comfortable number on every generic print. But Rz? Rz is the maximum peak-to-valley height. It’s the number that actually dictates whether your O-ring will seal or fail catastrophically under pressure. This design is a quiet gatekeeper. If someone reads your shirt and starts talking about contact surfaces and extreme deviations, you've found a peer. If they just stare blankly, you know exactly what level of tolerance they operate at. Deployed on our relaxed women's fit (Bella+Canvas 6400). A highly accurate piece of STEM clothing designed for those who understand the micro-mechanics of failure.

Best For

Best for women in quality, metrology, or precision machining who worry about peak-to-valley, not just the marketing Ra on the drawing.

  • Women in mechanical engineering.
  • Female CNC programmers.
  • Metrologists.
  • Quality leads who refuse to accept "good enough" on a technical drawing.

Gift Guide

A laser-targeted gift for female quality engineers, inspectors, and machinists who’ve explained Ra vs Rz more times than they can count.

The ultimate gift for the female senior engineer who sends drawings back to junior staff because the surface finish specs are "too generic." If she demands precision, this is her new uniform.
