Design Story

Built for engineers who are tired of explaining that if you want it good and fast, it will not be cheap.

Every client and every project manager wants the exact same impossible thing: a flawless product, delivered by tomorrow morning, for half the standard price. Welcome to the Iron Triangle. The laws of project management are as rigid as the laws of thermodynamics: you can have it good and fast, but it won't be cheap. You can have it fast and cheap, but it will be garbage. This engineer t-shirt saves you the trouble of explaining this concept during every single kickoff meeting.

Best For

Best for project managers, tech leads, and product engineers who live at the intersection of good, fast, and cheap—and force everyone to pick two.

  • Project managers tired of trying to negotiate with the laws of reality.
  • Freelance engineers, CAD designers, and software developers negotiating rates.
  • Manufacturing engineers handling impossible production schedules and budgets.
  • Job shop owners and CNC machinists quoting impossible lead times.

Gift Guide

A brutally accurate gift for anyone who manages scope, timelines, and budgets and is done pretending all three can be maxed out at once.

This is the ultimate engineer gift idea for anyone who deals with clients or upper management. It’s an essential piece of STEM clothing and a funny engineer shirt. Whether you are buying for a mechanical engineer in Chicago or an IT project manager in London, this shirt speaks a universal truth.
